I did this piece for Inktober, an event on Instagram where artists draw one piece per day for the month of October. The prompt was "swing", and I had been thinking about doing a silhouette of a swing anyways, so this was the perfect piece. 
 
I wanted to do the background as a galaxy, which means watercolor! I used The Fine Touch watercolors from Hobby Lobby, a Pentel of America water brush pen, and a Strathmore Mixed Media Visual Journal. 
 
All Inktober pieces come only in 5x7, as that is how they were meant to be viewed. Mat and frame not included.
