I did this piece for Inktober, an event on Instagram where artists draw one piece per day for the month of October. The prompt was "overgrown", and I've always thought old abandoned places were beautifully sad, so I wanted to paint something along those lines. The piece didn't turn out like I had in mind, but I really like it anyways.
 
I used The Fine Touch watercolors from Hobby Lobby, a Pentel of America water brush pen, a Micron ink pen, and a Strathmore Mixed Media Visual Journal. 
 
All Inktober pieces come only in 5x7, as that is how they were meant to be viewed. Mat and frame not included.
